Description

This study intends to develop a framework that explains and compares the ways different countries use information technology (IT) to control the spread of covid-19. Such a framework can quickly show the holes in the control strategy of a country.

At the moment, countries are taking different approaches to using IT to control the spread of covid-19. Different contact tracing, quarantine tracking, and entry permission systems are developed and used. However, there is no general framework that shows the differences between these approaches as well as their advantages and disadvantages.

Fund to hire student assistants to do the literature integration. A framework is already developed using a grounded theory approach. Now, the framework should be checked against the IT literature to ensure its theoretical novelty.
